    Thanks,

After a recount I ended up with a 106 instead of the 102. The stacks in the picture ended up with 21 each.

Hope to get some more of that collection in my next batch of boxes.

Wow, 106!!! That may be the most for any one box in this thread since I started 2 years ago. I can't remember a bigger one.

    CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!

Box of dimes from WF gave up 1 Merc ('40) and 2 roosies ('63 and '64-D). Best box in a while.

Heavily contaminated (2011-P's accounting for 75% or so) box of nickels still yielded 2 war nicks, both '43-P's. Surprising.

Wow, that is an incredible find! Those have to be from someone who passed away and the son or daughter rolls them all up and cashes them in for face.

That's a nice dime box, and with the Merc is makes it that much sweeter. How are the condition of the Merc's you've been pulling?

I've pulled a couple AU's, but most are F and lower. The one I pulled today is probably VG details cleaned.

Thats what I'm thinking also. There has to be more to this collection floating around out there. My other three boxes from that batch yielded a total of two 40%ers.

I've got four more boxes coming in tomorrow from the same supplier. Hope I get a few more.

Another box of dimes, 3 more silvers, all roosies, '47, '48 (AU58FB!), '54.

Good day for dimes, and no skunks to boot. Don't think I'm gonna touch TD's dimes for a while unless they come from Delaware.

I searched through $25 in cent CWR's today and they yielded the following:

    *3 clad Roosevelts
    *15 Wheats (Oldest was 1948)
    *23 Canadians (Including a '64 and a Centennial one from '67)

But the real treat was when I was dumping the coins. I looked down and I saw a very corroded reverse with "One Cent" and a wreath around it, I pick it up and it turns out it was my first Indian Head from circulation. I had to clean it up a bit to see what the date was, and based on observation, it's a 1902. This is now the oldest cent I've found in circulation and the oldest coin I've found, beating out a 1908 Liberty Head nickel.

Yeah, congrats. I'm still hoping for one from searching. I did find one long ago in the drawer at work in high school. Really corroded, and bent. Looks like a train hit it then it got buried for a while. Never the less, I still have it. I also found a pitch black steel cent in the Leave a Penny Take a Penny tray at the same job. Overlooked because of the color, I guess. I grabbed it tho.

Well, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that I tried (2) $1000.00 bags of quarters and got skunked. I tried another bag about a month ago and also got skunked. That's 12,000 quarters and NOTTA. I am officially done with quarters. Now the good news, I hit the best half box since the second week of March. I genrally do 10-12 boxes of halves a week and this box had more 90% and 40% then all of April,May, and June combined.
