Silver found

    Check this out. My father had bought a mini cash register bank from a garage sale and wanted to know the price on one so I got on ebay and did a search. I found they were around $20 but I also found this!

    Someone was selling for a bid of $20. I bought it for $50. These quarters were from 1936-1959 and three culls were found in the register. 4 1/2 ounces of silver. Not bad for $50 huh.

    I had a blue one as a kid. Mine was called an Uncle Sam Bank. It was a great way to save money.

    Nice find! I had a red one as a kid...but when I had it it was an antique. I think I still have it somewhere.

    Yeah. This register is also an Uncle Sam's. It's got the hole for paper money as well.
