Some day I'm going to look back at this opportunity and label it "the one that got away"! By the way, love the presentation cake platter they used, totally distracts from the huge amounts of luster just beaming off the fields of those random dated coins.

Three hours left in that auction. I smell furious bidding and sniping in the last 30 seconds.....:)

My favorite part is how they are displayed on a crystal tray, perhaps to add sense of luxury? A little like putting lipstick on a hog, as my grandfather used to say...

You guys think thats crazy? I dont feel like digging up the link but a guy is selling sets of 100 peace dollars for 350 bucks!!!!! Peaces melt at about 28 dollars so multiply that by 100 coins and he should be asking for about 2800$$$

You see that 70 of them have been sold?

That auction has fakes written all over it.

I wrote a message and asked if they were copy coins. I wonder what the answer will be.

That guy who is selling peace dollar will be making profit, since none of them are silver. I can't tell if he is selling 100 or 20.

In his explanation, he says 20. Plus, the pictures show 20 "coins". But two of them have some writing on them!

No the guy says five rolls of twenty. And how are peace dollars jot silver?

Here is what he actually says:
"In this auction, you will be receiving all 20 of the Peace Dollars!"

And Peace dollars are not silver if they are fakes made from a base metal alloy, which China has become famous for.

Any E Bay auction from China screams fake. I guess there would be a chance that someone is selling US coins that he picked up if he vacationed here, but that is HIGHLY unlikely.

The coins are replicas. You will receive twenty coins for $15 each... extremely high for Chinese fakes, as the going rate on eBay is around $3. His auction history shows 77 sold; where this figure came from I have no idea, as his feedback only shows one of these lots. Seller is using "double-talk" to make the unwary believe they will receive 100 genuine peace dollars.

They are passing them as real which is fraud in my book. They should be banned from ebay.
