How do you guys store your coins in airtities. I find myself putting them in small boxes but they always seem to be a disorganized mess. One of the things that really bothers me about this hobby is I find it very hard to be organized if you want to store coins in hard capsules yet keep them organized and easy to look at. What do you do?
I buy larger airtites, then put the airtite in the airtite. That way my airtite doesn't get scratched. also: I actually have no specific way of organizing them. They are all thrown in loose in a box. I like your idea Thad!
This is what I use to store the coins I have in air-tites: http://www.lighthouse.us/epages/lig...s/leuchtturm_us/Categories/US/US_2265/US_2266
i just throw all my airtites in a sandwhich bag and put the bag in a safe. if i want to see the coins in some form of order, i enjoy sorting them into that particular order. hey, if nothing else, it means i have to look at them again!
Are those pages flexible enough to easily put the airtites inside 2x2s in? How could you do it for larger (dollar) sized coins?
For the larger coins someone once said they use the eagle albums - Brent Krueger. They are designed for the eagle 2x2 holders, but they mentioned they put airtites into it. I have never tried it myself. Mine just get stacked in a box.
It's definately a little tight, but it's how I like it....the 2x2's stay in firmly. I don't know about larger coins because I only collect cents. I'm pretty sure they'd fit. Give it a try!
Does anybody know where I can get some 2x2 older binder pages? I currently keep all my older coin in 2x2s...I keep the 2x2s in baseball card holder binder pages..
They have them on eBay… http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=2x2+binder+page&_sacat=See-All-Categories I just saw your other post about not having PayPal…in this case I would suggest your local coin dealer. I hope this helps.
This is the best solution I have seen yet. I had some of my airtites out over the last couple days and it drives me nuts not having a good way to store them. I really like the look of these trays!
