silver coins ( half dollars)

i have about 13 silver coins weight is 5.7 oz can i sell for silver price plus spot just needing advice all cions are 40 50s nice collection will put pics up later

If none are grading higher than G, they're worth melt, $13.16 each.

Are you sure about the weight of 5.7 ounces? Half dollars weigh in at 12.50 grams, which is
0.440924524 37 ounce. That's less than half an ounce.

 

yes all 13 weighted out at 162.3 grams

 

Each 90% silver dollar contains .36169 oz. of pure silver which would be 4.7 oz.

5.7 avoirdupois ounces = 5.2 troy ounces

5.2 troy ounces of 90% silver = 4.7 ounces Actual Silver Weight

In other words, the halves weigh about what they're supposed to, and everybody's right.
