    Hi All,

Would like some assistance in identifying a coin. It looks like a penny but a tad bit smaller. Has, what looks like, 2 people walking down a road (male and female? under an arch?). The other side is what looks like a bird, holding a snake in its mouth.

The bird with the snake in it's mouth is common in Mexico, on coins, flags, etc. But, it looks different than the one you have there, so it may not be Mexican.
Also, that appears to be some kind of token, not a coin.
It sort of looks like a marriage scene on the one side, so maybe it's a token given out at a wedding? Just a guess, probably wrong.
Hopefully others will chime in with some info.

    And welcome to coin talk!

It is most likely some sort of Mexican marriage token.

That was my first thought, a marriage token.

I figured it might have been something like that. Worth a try. Thanks for all the help.
