They should be available at the banks. I haven't been to get mine, but the teller at my bank told me that they would have them at the end of May. Here's a pic of my proof Grant.

I think above all this is the one president I would get. That looks good in the proof version!

Yeah, so far the Grant is my favorite of the presidential dollar series. Where are you at in Michigan?

When I can't get to a bank to buy dollars, I go to a few car washes where I know dollars are dispensed instead of quarters. So, I insert some one-dollar bills and among the coins was a Grant. Interestingly, this was on May 19, when the coin's launch ceremony occurred.

I prefer the Sacagawea and Native American designs, but so far, Grant is my favorite-looking presidential coin; it looks like they took the image off of a $50 bill and put it on a coin.

Picked my roll of Grants up at the bank this morning. As soon as the wife gets home with the camera I'll post pics.

As promised, here are a couple of pictures of my roll of Grant's. Not the greatest pictures, but you should be all set to go pick up your's at your bank.

Picked up a roll at the bank. Spent all but 3 which were higher grades that I kept. Gonna pick up another roll later this week. I'm gonna buy a lot of these as we both share the name Grant.

I thought presidential dollars were only available through the bulk purchase program or the mint's website? Have they started releasing these into circulation again? Over the years I have had to resort to paying $2-$3 a piece for them at coin shows and ebay. Even the older Washingtons dont circulate here anymore and banks down here dont seem to order any.

The banks have always been able to order them, it's just that most of them don't. Now the NA dollars I believe are only available by direct ship. So any of those you get from the banks are ones that people have gotten by direct ship and then spent.
