Thanks - its amazing how a dozen years in a Dansco will do to a coin.
I remember it was almost white when I bought it - I'm sure the coin was
    once dipped.

I figure I will post this one too :) I love the design of this short lived anacs holder! Its a shame they are so easily breakable :(

Thanks - I'm sorry to say that 99% of my Barbers are being auctioned off at Heritage August 11 & 12th at the pre-show at
    the ANA in Chicago.

I'll still dabble in coins but not to the extent as I have done in the past.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I decided to keep a few coins out of my collection - for various reasons.
Here's one of the Dimes I held out:[IMG]

Nice Coin! I love the look of Barber halves in circulated grades. I'm in the process of putting a circulated set together.

What did that coin grade, F15, VF20?

  14. I like the look of these too. I couldn't pass this one up. Pcgs 25

This Barber dime pales in comparison to most of what I've seen here, but I'll toss it out here anyway to try to get some input about the grade. I paid the equivalent of $55 for it. I hope I didn't get burned too bad.

    Looks like a RPD.

    ------------------------
RaceBannon - nice 13-D Half - perfect Dansco raw example.
It still has a lot of detail - and shouldn't be too difficult to
    match to complete a set.

Thanks Elbesaar, that's exactly the look I'm going for in my DANSCO. F-VF with natural toning from circulation. I think it's a great look.

And the coins are still affordable in those grades. ;)
