This is an unattributed Later Die State 1800 S-193 R4 currently on eBay if any Copper lovers are interested. Even though it's certainly a low grade example, it has a nice planchet and a nice strong crack on the reverse to make the identification certain. R4 is borderline rare with estimated survival of about 118-158 examples of the variety.

    Good luck!

Nice plain worn copper like I like them. If I was not limiting myself to what I need for my album I would bid on it.

Great pickup! If I'd caught it, I'd have bid you up a bit ;-)

Glad to hear someone on this board got the coin. I just love them when they are worn smooth, but you can still see most of the details. Good pick-up!

So that was you! I thought I had it till someone outbid me by 50 cents at the very end. Lucky for you I was at work when it ended :D But, glad someone here was able to get that piece.

You're welcome. I love identification more than ownership. Good thing!
