That by far has been one of the hardest (modern) coins to find in circulation for me. I was very surprised to find it.

Well....I guess I spoke way too soon.

On the way home from work I stopped at a few banks. At one bank, they had 7 CWR and all of them are BU.

    1 roll of BU 2000 D
    1 roll of BU 2002 D
    2 rolls of BU 2003 D
    2 rolls of BU 2004 D
    1 roll of BU 2004 P

What do I do with these? I have been keeping the best of the NIFC, but I don't need all of these. Since they are not mint wrapped, would they carry enough premium to make up for the fees on Ebay? Please give me idea....

My last bank had 4 CRW. Roll one had 1 40%er and the 2nd roll had nothing. The final 2 rolls had "Silver" in pen written on them!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the anticipation of something like this. First of the 2 had 3 40%ers, 6 1964, and 3 Franklins (62d, 54d, 57d). I then opened the final roll and I started hyperventilating, LOL. It was a solid roll of 1964d Kennedys.

    WoooHOOOO.

So, the total take of silver was
    4 40%ers
    3 Franklins
    26 1964s

Holy Mackerel Bobbeth! That is awesome man, what a way to end a dry spell huh, LOL. I have a box coming to me tomorrow, I hope I get something. Will take anything over a skunk, but would love to hit a monster like that!

Also going out of town for my open water diving certification all weekend. Might have to see if I can find time to stop at some banks and get halves out of town.

New here and have only been searching for a couple weeks. I got a 1954 Washington Q back in change and knew it sounded different and then it all started. I like investing and like to buy oil and gold through my 401k. With a 10 month old daughter I figured I'll start to collect silver coins for her since you could buy an ounce for less than $50 a month ago...Wish my parents did that for me when I was a kid. Any way...here are my finds. $60 in halves-nothing, and no one in my area had more than a couple in their teller trays. I always buy whatever they have but always came up skunk. I then cash them in and bought dimes as from reading they have better odds of silver compared to Quarters. I scored two Roosie's out of $60. I then cashed in $37.50 of assorted coins we had around the house and asked for halves from a teller I had never been to before, but I had asked that bank and took all they had a week earlier. She said how many do you want, I said I'll take all $37.50 in halves. She took out 4 rolls and dumped one out on counter to make my $7.50 in change and I heard the sound of silver. I quickly pulled out some cash and said, I'll take that whole role please. Went out to the car and looked through the roll, it had like 5 40% in it. I went back in and asked that same teller if she had more halves. she said I have one more roll, I took that as well and came out with 49 40% all from 1967 and 1968. 49 out 100 coins were 40% silver! Since them I have searched $80 in halves that i found and all skunk. I think they are someonelse dumps. I have been searching dimes too and found 2 more Roosie's along the way. Searched $12.00 in nickles and found a 1942P
Maybe $500 searched so far combined
    49 40%
    4 Roosie
    1 War Nickle

Killer score, Bob! I'll take that over mine any day.

Did a box of nickels last night, let's see if you can spot the lone keeper in the box, it was an ender...

It was pretty worn, I'd say somewhere around G4-G6.

Heading into the city with the girlfriend today, she agreed to let me hit up some banks as well as jewelers row and the US Mint, so it should be a fun day.
