If your using Windows Vista or 7 I would upgrade to IE9 or Google Chrome. That should solve your problems

Out of 3 boxes of dimes I got 1 silver dime in each
got one roll of halves, I thought it felt heavier when I got it, i found no silver but an extra $2.50 inside

 

2 boxes of dimes, both skunks.

Guess it's my turn to have some crap luck. Did sell two of my copper cent lots on eBay for $185 each shipped.

 

Just finished up a box of cents today...yielded only 7 wheaties...
1942, 1944D, 1945D, 1951D, 1955DX2, and 1956.

Also gave up 12 'S' mint marks...
1968SX2, 1969SX2, 1971SX2, 1972SX3, 1973SX2, and 1974S.

This is the first time that I have received more S mints than wheats, strange for me. Box also yielded 2 beautiful 1959 cents, one a P and the other a D, both will be upgrades in my collection, sweet! Also my first box with no foreign coins at all.

 

Was the halve roll bankwrapped?

$100 face per lot. I've got 4 lots left, probably actually have enough now to add another lot.

 

Did you make much profit after shipping and ebays ridiculous commisions?

 

Shipping will take $15 off the top, so $170, then ebay/paypal will knock out another 12%ish... so about 20 bucks. I clear $50 per lot, not too bad.

 

Not too shabby. Maybe I should start saving me pre 1982's...

 

Box of nickels; Sku... oh, wait, '45-P in my second to last roll. Jeeze.

 

That reminds me. I got 31 rolls of halves the other day from a bank. When I got home, and started going through them, I noticed one was actually a $25 roll of small dollars. So I hope the teller didn't get in trouble, but otherwise, I was happy. 6 40%ers and a proof in those rolls too, though most were dump rolls (I figured, as there were different wrappers on the good rolls).

 

1 slv and 6 canadians in a box, plus picked up 40 Ikes.

 

Got that box of dimes on Friday afternoon I was hoping to get. Searched them all when I got home. Found one 1951 silver dime in my first box. Better than nothing! I actually asked the teller if it was ok with her if I just brought them back up there and traded them for another box and she said she didn't mind at all because she thought it was interesting that I wanted to go home and look through a whole box of dimes. (I live in a small down home southern town.)

 

I have a box of halves waiting for me at the bank and I have to be honest, I'm just not too thrilled to go get them. I've searched 3 boxes with no results. It's not fun anymore. But I'll go get them and keep trying.
