1944 penny

    Well, i have this 1944 penny, and its in good shape, not scratched up or anything.

    Im trying to find out where it was made, wonder if it is a d/s.

    Sadly dont have any way to show a picture but this is what i see.

    Under the year there is nothing, its just smooth, no D, S or D/S, and there isnt any conflicting figures on the coin suggesting that it just got misprinted.

    That tells me that the coin is Philadelphia mint. On the Lincoln cents, when there's nothing below the date, that indicates that the coin was minted in Philadelphia. And for Denver, it's a "D", and San Francisco is a "S".
