Nice mis aligned die obv. Mis aligned dies are quite common, but the ones that show missing details on one side, (usually the obv). Are a little more desirable.
As mentioned, it's a misaligned die rather than an off-center strike (since the reverse is in proper alignment). Relatively common, but that obverse is shifted enough for it to be a keeper. It's misaligned a little bit more than most I've seen.
actually Off-Center Strikes are an error. As the "error" occurred on the Minting Press itself, not afterwards. But they are much more desireable more offset than that. ==> The Popular Off-Center Strike (pcgs.com)
I've been here alot longer than that and still have newbie moments. There's a staggering amount of knowledge around here, sometimes its like trying to drink from a firehose trying to take it in. Just relax and enjoy the process. There's not a better place you can find to learn about coins.
