did i get an ok deal?

    trying to get a full lincoln cent set. just bought a 1945-D licoln cent NGC graded MS66RD. payed 9 dollars for it. is this around the price i can expect to pay for a MS coin in this year range? thanks for the help.

    You did well, I'd say. You're mostly paying for the slab, but I don't feel that's a bad thing. It's cheaper than I could go get that coin slabbed for.

    p.s. FYI, you are essentially buying someone's "mistake". In other words, the person who submitted that coin was likely going for a 67 or higher grade (generally as part of a very large group of coins submitted at the same time), but this coin didn't get the grade, and someone is blowing out the coin cheap.
