Here is a few that I picked up today the battery died on camera and I definitely need to improve my picture taking http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f122/leinieboy/CSNS/?albumview=slideshow
Dang, my MOH Proof showed up today and its got a huge scratch. I'm sending it right back to the mint. Don't ya hate it when that happens!
Nothing special, but for $15, it's under melt value. Plus, some interesting toning on all three silver pieces.
Just picked this Morgan dollar up at my local shop last week. This is my first CC morgan and i mostly focus on copper, but I fell in love with the mirror fields and had to own it.
Wow, Beautiful Morgan! You might want to re-submit that one. Coming out of an OGH, I think it's a candidate for an upgrade.
Thanks! I happen to like that about the coin. I hardly ever see the green slab offered much and I like that about the coin. If I ever sell the coin I'm sure the next owner will appreciate that as well. The coin came in a pretty large collection and that was built many years ago. There was several rattler slabbed Morgans in 62 holders that were beautiful and certainly need regrades (probably get 64s out of some), but I passed on them (it was so obvious and they were already priced as 63s) and put my existing capitol into this coin. Actually, I sold silver I bought at 24 dollars last October to buy it, so even though it was a bit pricy, I paid about half price for it in my mind. I have been able in the past to use bullion silver to help get me into valuable collector coins and a 24 dollar profit in six months per oz, GOOD BY SILVER!. I personally feel I will enjoy this coin daily more than silver bullion. Am I crazy?
Well, this past weekend I decided it was time to get a few coins I have been looking at. I went to my local dealer and got the Type 1 SLQ you see, as well as the set of BU 1955 Dimes (P,D, and S). The 1955-D dime looks to have FSB. The SLQ was a decent price and is graded by ANACS. The 1942-D Jeffertson Nickel I purchased off Ebay and is PCGS MS-66, although it looks like a 65 to me. I'm in love with the Standing Liberty. It is one of my all time favorite coins.
I got this not long ago and cracked it from its NGC slab for my Dansco album. NGC graded it AU58. Lance.
Thanks, racebannon. Yes, I am a little OCD about imaging coins. I was about to show bigger ones but they're about 4x as big and took up the whole screen. Someone wouldn't like that. LOL Lance.
