I have to go through! I have no idea. There are six of these large Folgers coffee containers that are 3/4 full. All or mostly wheat back. ♂️
Probably about $15 to $20 a can. Now your into the variety's and errors type coins. This site will definitely help you with your search and attribution. But please post some of your finds, we all like seeing them. http://varietyvista.com/index.htm
If I remember correctly just under three rolls ($1.46-1.47) weighs one pound, if you want to weigh an empty can and then weigh the can with the wheats etc.....
Seems like the wheats were sorted out not too long ago, since plastic coffee cans haven't been around that long. Folgers switched from metal in 2003. Hope you find something interesting.
I don't drink coffee (can't stand the smell) but I took a bunch of empty plastic coffee containers from my dad and put pennies in them a while ago (after washed out several times). After opening them a few years later, everything smelled like coffee. ick. I have bunches of pennies I've hoarded from the 70s through today. Haven't searched them.
Sound like fun to me. I'd suggest separating first by date and mint mark, then check out a good website like Variety Vista for what type of varieties for each year. Good luck.
