    Hey gang!!

I picked this coin up this past weekend from another dealer. I'm going to send it to NGC for certification. I don't normally like them white but this sucker has some screaming luster so I let it slide. The fields on the reverse are mesmerizing.

What do you say it grades?

MS 63 Depends on if that's chatter in the field's on the Obv.

And congrats on the the Mod job.

Looks like it has a period before the L on DOL don't it?

  7. Im torn between 62/63. I think the reverse looks great, bit I think the chatter on the obverse might hold it back. Very nice piece though.

60-62. The chatter, milling marks, and hits on the obverse will hold it back. Nice reverse!

Lots of marks in the fields but based on my experiences with imaging coins I think cameras over accentuate that sort of thing.
I suspect it doesn't look that bad in hand.
    I'd say 63-64.
    And the devices look pristine.

Looks like it's dripping with luster. Great job on the photo's, by the way.

    62+. Is it PL?

It is slightly PL but not enough for the designation. I got a new Canon 10MM macro lens... that thing is amazing.

    62

Slightly PL surfaces make it very attractive to my eye. Neat coin.

I should know the grade on this one today. Any more thoughts?

Personally, MS60. The coin looks like it came in 8th in an axe fight. But I won't be surprised if NGC says 62.

I say it doesn't get past MS-63 only because of all the hairlines and marks in the fields. It is still a great coin and the luster probably looks great in the hand. Nice buy. Final grading 61-62.
