I recently bought a lot with 2 x 1978 Bahamas $10 coins. These are impressively large, and weigh 45 grams apiece.

I'm wondering if anyone has access to the mintage numbers & fineness of the coins? I'm finding conflicting info that suggests either 50% silver or 92.5% silver, and for hockey pucks like these, that makes quite a difference in their value.

If they are similar to this one, they are sterling silver, .925 fine.

I love Bahamian coinage, I've been seeking out mint sets and older coins from The Bahamas. So far I was able to collect an uncirculated roll of 1998 cents, it was a cool find.

In Krause, any 1978 Bahamian $10.00 coins were .500, .7291 ASW. 3 different designs are listed for 1978.

Thank you. I have two of the Sir Milo designs (fifth year of independence), but I've also seen a Prince Charles. What's the 3rd pattern?

They list 2 Prince Charles designs, looks like the placement of the mintmark is different.
