Also want to mention that over half of the 40%ers I found today were in the best condition I have ever seen a half in. all must be Bu or Ms very clean and no dings. very good strikes. cant wait to get my hands on the rest of the bag to see what it contains.

Question for everyone, when you find your 64's are there 40%ers with them or are the 64's alone? is there a 64 in the rest of that bag or is there only going to be the 65-69???

13th box of pennies (to date):

    1928, 1945-S, 1948-D, 1951-D, 1957-D, 1964 Canadian penny

    14th box of pennies:

1919-D, 1941, 2x 1944, 2x 1945-D, 1947-S, 2x 1953-D, 2x 1956-D...and...*drum roll*...a 1902 IHC :) Finally got one after searching 30K pennies throughout this hobby. It's in really nice shape too, most of the details are intact and the coin suffers from no signs of heavy circulation.

Also, this is not apart of CRH, but I find my second silver dime at HEB (a major grocery store chain in Texas) underneath the CoinStar machine, this time a 1959-D (last time it was a 1953-D).

    Let's see:
The guy who blacks out "we trust"
The guy who blacks the edges
The guy who puts a blue mark on JFK's ear'
The guy who puts a blue mark on JFK's eye
The guy who puts numbers to the left and right of JFK (like "4" and "9") on all 1974 Ds

    What else did you find....lol

My guy sharpies the 9s in the 90 series, and then writes the month on the back. They were marked 4/11, so they have been freshly picked.

    Another question

Went through some more dimes yesterday, found another roosie; full report next week.

While at a new bank asking for Q's, the teller offered me mint rolls...

I'm pretty much searching for silver, but was wondering if this is something I should have taken him up on? Are mint rolls worth appreciably more than face?

For 2011's, you can probably sell for a profit.

    Not mint rolls

I went back just now - my mistake, they were just BWR's. However, it was slow in there, and the two tellers remembered me from yesterday, so I was chatting them up... very nice people! They said coming in for coins made no difference to them, they were happy to get the weight out of the drawers. lol

Now I have the first two on the list for Starbuck's cards... :D

That list grows fast if you get a couple nice scores.

Just went to one of my pick up banks to get change for work and a box of cents for myself, and 2 sorority girls walk in with 5 boxes of cents. This bank doesn't take rolled change, so they would have had to dump it into the counting machine. I catch this whole exchange while the teller is off making change for me, so I approach them, offer to buy all five boxes, and bam, I have enough pennies to search for the next week, minimum.

...and you didn't ask the sorority gals what was going on later that night?

Well went another bank today that had $260 worth of halves so I took them but it didnt leave me with eoungh money to get the rest of the stash I found at that other bank yesterday. so I took $69 worth of the $155 they had left. So I went home with a total of $329 in loose halves they pulled out of their counting machine bags.

from both banks today I scored 47 kennedy 40%ers and my very first Franklin 1962-D

My 2 day total from searching 2 different banks halves bags is 82 kennedy 40%ers and 1 franklin 90% out of $474 searched

I'm going to a bachelors party tonight, so I'm sure I'll get my fair share of ungentlemanly debauchery in.

My first $10 roll of halves, and I got a 1968. Not pretty but my first. All of the rest of the coins were 1976's.

First box off those chicks yielded nothing much, just a '21, '28-S, and a RB '57 out of about 20 wheats total.
