I just received my set today. Perfect, beautiful coins. Much better looking in hand than any photos I have seen.

I really didn't care for the Gold Design. If I could have had my way, I would have switched the Silver & Gold designs . JUst my opinion. That said, being a disabled vet myself , I made a few purchases of the Silver Proof Commemoratives.

Giving some thought to the current Mint prices for .25 oz Gold Commems, the ask price of $444 from the Mint is simply ~$7 above most Dealers spot ask price for a .25 oz AGE.
Great way to buy a realy nice gold commem with minimum premium...get em while you can.

Yep, the group is Clays idea. I think he has every modern and needs a dozen classics to complete the set. I do not know if he has all the golds, but he has quite a few. Its a good place to share at any rate.

Thanks for the welcome...I have all the modern halves...halves are my favorite. Within commems as a whole, Olympics are my favorites and I love the specially packaged stuff...yeah, I know, fool paying for packaging, but I like some of them alot.

    Absolutely. :)

Click on "community" up top on the tool bar and a drop down box appears. Click "groups" and you're half way there. Just find the Commem group and join up. Simple as that.....:)

I'm sorry. I didn't know there was actually a separate group. I thought that this thread was the group that howaboutatrade was referring to.
