Help with Token? Dug Today in SC

    I’m headed back at some point soon, it’s a little trashy but not awful. I also found what I’m assuming is a very early “OK Player” token about ten feet from this one, I can’t find any pictures of the one with the “whatsoever” part listed online.

    Used to. Moved away in '94, down to the Golden Isles of GA. Still have friends in Asheville and get up thataway once a year, however.

    I've dug those holey "amusement" tokens. I gather they were for some kind of slot machine they had in bars, where you could win prizes with a pull of the wheel? Something like that. They had to be very clear on that "no cash or trade value" wording to circumvent gambling laws, I think. I've never seen one with the "whatsoever" on it, though. Perhaps our exonumic guru @ZoidMeister can say something about these.
