I want to hear about your most creative place to get coins. Rolls or singles. I just heard from my banks, that I've tired out, that gas stations are a good idea.
I got all my 2010 uncirculated cent rolls from 7/11. My bank didn't have any. I also ask at the local party stores for their canadian change.
I don't know if this is his reasoning for it, but I think they are cool due to the new reverse design. 2010 was the first year for the Shield reverse so that has some historical importance.
By the trash by the coin machine at the bank. The trash is inside a piece of furniture, and there is a lip just inside the flap that catches coins. I have found dozens of foreign coins there and a 1910 Lincoln as well.
Re the question about the cents....It could be he wanted a few for his Dansco album or, maybe he is like me, I put away 2 rolls of cents from both mints every year just out of habit.
Lol older furniture is good, my dad was selling an old chair years ago in a yard sale, I found 30$ in change b4 someone bought it.
