I'm seeing more of this now with the increase in people hunting silver. I've had several banks recently turn me away because I didn't have an account. I swear, I must have accounts at twelve different banks now.

Might want to watch out... the FBI came to my house and asked me some questions because I opened 7 bank accounts in one month... they thought I was laundering money or something.

Searched through my last $60 before paycheck on friday, and got three 40% silvers, and one im not sure of, and this is where you guys come in. I picked through one and its 1998 with an S mint mark and has a mirrored field. whats this coin? and does it contain any silver?

Proof. May be silver, check the edge. If it's copper, it's not silver, if it looks like a silver coin, well, it's silver.

Yea it looks copper =[. Should I hold on to it or throw it back into the "to be rolled" pile? What would you do? I mainly collect for silver.

I mean, it's only 50 cents. You realize every time you flush the toilet, that's like 10 cents? 5 toilet flushes.

New to roll searching. Did $420 of halves today and found 2 40s,
    a 1998 s proof copper, and a 2004 D. I was also wondering if the bicentennial
halves are worth anything? I got about $60 worth on this run. Got my first box
ordered so we will see how that goes. Is there a particular chain that uses coin
machines? I can't find one except for coinstar and that's a ripoff.

I have 3 rolls of '64 uncirculated. Are they worth anything?

Toss the bicentennials, they made over 1.1 billion that year, they're worthless, numismatically.

Are the original bank rolls or what?

Yeah, they were my Grandfather's when he owned a record store. Bought em and forgot he had em. They are sitting next to
some very interesting coins that I already know are pretty rare. I didn't know if this was by accident or what.

Thanks for the heads up. I can only imagine the look you got when you explained CRH to them.

I've been watching my credit score since I started hunting last year and so far, no dips in the score because of multiple accounts.

Irish, I sent you a PM a few days back. I didn't see that you had sent me one.
