Hello everyone! Just wanted to post a quick review for Ray Komka Coins at www.raykomkacoins.com. I have actually used this dealer a couple of times now, mostly for low cost modern and common stuff and have always been satisfied. This past weekend I ran into a problem with my credit card after placing an order on saturday night. Long story short, somehow my fraud protection got tripped and the caused some minor havoc with my order. I shot an e-mail to them that night, and was pleasently surprised to have a response when I awoke sunday morning. Everything was straightened out quickly and easily thanks to good customer support. I should add that this was a very small, inexpensive order but was still treated as a priority, which was nice. Just thought I'd pass along a good experience!
I too have had great experience with this company.... I'm waiting until I move out of NY before placing any other orders though - why pay sales tax if I don't have to
I didn't think their prices were that bad, but then again I'm pretty new to the hobby so I'm still learning how to be a savvy buyer .
You really can't get a good deal on just a pound or two because the shipping costs would be such a high percentage of the cost. It costs more total, but it's a better deal to get a larger poundage amount. A pound or two would probably take a small flat rate box and work out to almost $3 a pound for shipping. A 25 pound order could probably be sent in a medium flat rate box for $10.95 or about 50 cents per pound for shipping.
Hey Circ... thanks for the great post. We try to do our best! Hey Ripley, I don't mind a good joke now and then but the truth is we treat our customer's exactly the way we would want to be treated. Hey Fred13.. please advise what you find us high on? Sometimes there is a lot of processing time on specific products but overall we do our best to be very competitive and we offer free shipping on orders of $200 or more.
