I see an outline of lincoln's forhead deep into the recess of this penny, what is your educated guess here ?

I'd say PMD, but not sure what from.

The coin was clearly smashed/dented by something, so some of his hair would have been pushed into the recess. As to seeing his forhead in there, that is purely coincidence.

Something is dead wrong with the beard, its not meeting the neck line between his chin and collar at the correct angle
