It's either the SBA Obverse or the Ike Dollar obverse. If I were left with one to choose, I'd probably choose the Ike to be the ugliest.

Yep Coinguy, Ike is not going to win a beauty contest. But, in my opine the beautiful reverse saves the coin from the worst.

I have to agree with you there, the reverse makes up for it. I like the posture of the Eagle.

I agree. I think the SBA obverse is the worst...especially when you consider the Liberty design that was ejected in favor of the SBA.

That's how I feel about the Kennedy Half. I don't feel the obverse is ugly I just think it's a very boring design. Much like the Roosevelt dime. But the reverse of the Kennedy half is beautiful, especially in a high grade.

    I dislike the Barber designs.

I like them in mid to high grades. The spaghetti haired Washington obverse is pretty bad too.

I think for ugly old ladies it's a tossup between SBA and the new Jefferson nickel.

i know i'll get boos and hisses for this but... my least favorite design is the morgan dollar. imo, it's very plain. barber coins come in a close second.

To me the idea of a commemorative for that event is disgusting. You don't commemorate tragedies. They are days that are supposed to live in infamy.

I suppose there are other sides to the argument, but it just does not sit well with me.

The Morgan Dollar is actually one of my favorite designs.

Had no idea that a topic in this forum is about non-US coins as well. Anyway ...

A German €10 collector coin from 2002, celebrating 50 years of (regularly broadcast) television. Here for example http://www.muenzauktion.com/pollandt/pic/artid13096_combined.jpg is a larger image, but it does not really get any better. :D

SBA dollar. Looks like a commemorative to spinsterhood. And I don't even know if she was married or not.
