Repeat serial number value?

    I found a ten dollar bill today with the serial number 16516516, is it worth anything over face? I dont collect bills just know a few things.

    Hello Zach:

    I would go a head and spend the note. If the SN was X16511651X then it would be a true repeater.
    Just my 2 bucks worth. BTW, you did not mention the condition of the note, nor the district?

    This may not be much help, but repeaters & radars on modern-era currency are a buyers market.
    This pair are not 10's, but they are matching and somewhat binary, and were only $10 for the pair.

    The centering is GEM, and the paper is CH-CU.

    The full SN is IF 16516516 C. It's in average condition, one fold and few rinkles. Thanks
