    Nolan was my idol growing up! I have upwards of 5000 Nolan cards along with misc. memorabilia. Since we're on the subject, anyone know of a good place to sell a bunch of baseball stuff? I have around 35,000 cards along with several other items that are locked up in a climate controlled storage building just taking up space.

    Nolan Ryan wasn't that good, FWIW... if you go by modern-era statistics, he was a very good pitcher, but not the best of his era... the real secret to that man was his longevity.

    With that said, yawn, call me in August or thereabouts. MLB season is way, way too long.

    No baseball for me, I watch Kelly Slater and Taj Burrow in the ASP World tour that started 2 weeks ago! That is my dream is to be a pro on the ASP tour and surf the Pipe here on Oahu.
