another extreem hard to find in MS cent !!
1 - don't like the color, looks cleaned to me.
2 - strike is weaker, which isn't odd for this date,, this one may even have one of the stronger strikes I've seen,,, but have seen stronger AU strikes around.
3 - significant nics on the face.
I'd say a solid 63 in my book, and will guess pcgs says the same with no bump for reasons 1,2,3....... but only give it a 50-50 chance.

.... btw,, nother nice cent there RLM's.

I went low- a solid 62, with a few obverse nicks and a weak strike (normal).

It looks like it has machine doubling on the date.

I did not do a very good job of capturing the color on this one. I have no idea why they say RB for this one. In hand, I see nothing brown about it. A little weak on the strike (Hey! It is a 25-S one of the worst struck Lincolns out there), but good luster and not many ticks. It really looks like a 64 in hand.

Scores went up this time. I think the 24-D was the worst one yet.

The red is too subdued for an RD designation, I can see it. These are very rare in RD. The strike/planchets caused most of them to take on strange colors. At least they got the grade right this time!
