This is a Series 1999 $1.00 misprinted bill. Is it worth anything?

IGNORE THIS PICTURE BELOW!! It was taken on my webcam and is backwards. I can't figure out how to delete it.

My first impression is that it's a fake. Too many things going on with it. Can you scan it, front and back at the highest resolution?

Here are the bills I have. As you can see the serial numbers are subsequent to each other. The 2nd is the misprint.

Now that's completely different from your first pic! Your first pic is reversed.

There's still something confusing here. The serial numbers and the seals are printed at the same time. So if there is a shift in the printing both seals and both serial numbers should be misaligned.

It appears there are remnants of the other two "5"'s visible in the correct position which makes me think the blank seal was also removed and replaced in the wrong position.

This is my understanding, but since I've just begun to collect U.S. errors, hang tough until some of the other members chime in.

Where did you come across this?

My mom works at a bank. She said she got it from the bank and it's not fake.

Also notice this picture. This is the back of serial #E08755685B

Two of the "5"s from the front printed through onto the back.

I'm a coin collector and don't really know too much about bills. But I told her I'd check into it for her.

You have to determine that it is authentic. I recommend you wait until a couple of other collectors give their opinion. Posting the reverse was the right thing to do. I had no idea the numbers were on the back because my psychic powers don't work over the internet.:D

Also If you could edit your first picture, it would really help.

If it's real it's worth a couple of hundred dollars. It's better with the other notes. If it's fake, it's worth a dollar.

Sorry about the first pic. I thought it could be as simple as a webcam photo. Not sure how to delete that picture.

Look at the bottom of the post and you'll see "Edit Post". Click on it and it'll open a box that you can edit. Copy the group pic that you posted later on and paste it over the first image. It'll replace the first pic.

It appears the first image is photographed in front of a mirror...lol

The note appears to be real and will be considered a significant error.
Depending on what you would like to do with it I can offer a few suggestions.
PM me if you would like to.

    Regards,
