Sorry to hear you were taken. Knowledge is power; this is especially true in collecting coins. Before you buy anything else you should research the item and the seller. As pointed out above, the company you bought from has been discussed numerous times here on CoinTalk. A little research could have saved you a bundle.

When you have such a problem the best thing you can do is call your creditcard company and open a dispute. Merchants who accept creditcards must agree to the terms of the processor which must include a return policy. Make the cc company feel like u got ripped off and sent the wrong item or something. Then send it back and let those guys take the loss. You will only lose return shipping + tracking :D Good luck!

Call your CC company and tell them to cancel payment as you did not recieve what you paid for. Then mail back the items with a return reciept to proof that you mailed them back.
Well that's what I'd do at least.
    Good luck

    val,

We have all made bad coin purchases. Hopefully this won't sour you on collecting coins and you will use this purchase as a learning experience.

It sounds like he was signing off from the thread before the credit card advise was given. I hope he is receiving notices on new postings.

Holy crap!!! I just looked at their website. They want $2,348.00 for a plain vanilla 1 ounce Krugerrand. WTF? Then they allege that the South African Mint has limited each year to only 1,500. Guess they mean per customer.

Finally, did anyone notice that have on all of their pages that they are sorry that they are not currently able to accept orders from California. The Attorney General there must be doing his job.

Yes, call your credit card company, and also contact the attorney general of the state you live in, as well as the state where this sleazy company operates.

I'm sorry. I'm confused. How much money did you send them? And what were you expecting to get?

I got an idea. I'm thinking I'll write:

Mary Ellen Withrow and Thomas C Harris about my feelings for this company seeing that their picture is right there advocating this company.

I just actually visited the safe page. I must admit I feel much less bad for the OP here. There was no scam they list exactly what you get. You buyer a safe and they mention what it comes with to sweeten the deal. Maybe they just don't want a 500lb safe back? I dont blame them.
