Does this mean the bank wrote the number? Why not to call? Why forget the name of the teller? I am so confused LOL but I smell a mystery.. what don't I understand?

Picked up my weekend box before I went into work today, quickly grabbed two rolls and busted them open - nothing. Oh well, 48 rolls left to go : )

    This week's finds:

So, having missed my weekly pickup of two boxes of halves, I arrived back this week to find they were still at the bank.

Roll 1: 1963 D Franklin Half. Awesome start.
    Rolls 2-100: Diddly. Skunk ending.

On Thursday, went in to pick up my normal shipment.

    4 40% Kennedys
    1 1987 P (my first '87)
    1 2009 P (my first '09)
    2 2004 P
6 conditional keepers (AU or better)

And the most interesting: A 1999 P Half with what I believe is a grease-filled die error that erased the "ALF D" from "HALF DOLLAR" on the reverse. Not as fun as two weeks ago (1995 Atlanta commem.) but finding that Franklin and the error was def. cool!

Picked up 10.50 loose in halves today and found 3 40% halves 1 1965 and 2 1966's. They look AU to me so I was pretty happy. Picked up 31 dollars in CWR pennies that I saw a customer dropping off but so far haven't found one wheat penny so I don't think that I will find any. A few weeks ago I picked up 25 dollars in CWR and did pretty good, found almost 50% in copper pennies and about 10 wheat pennies(which isn't good for me around here I usually find between 15 and 30 on average in a BWR box).

I keep all the NIFC's that I find. I keep them in coin tubes with all other NIFC's. If I need them for my folder I will put them in the folder but if I don't then they go into a tube.

Do you plan on selling them sometime or do you just keep them to keep them?

4 boxes of halves netted me 3 90% and 4 40%. Two of the three 90% were Kennedys, but the other was my oldest find so far, a 1918 Walking Liberty "S". It's in pretty rough shape (AG-3 I would say) but still a very fun find.

I'm keeping all my NIFC as well...not sure there is too much added value to them at this time...but with my cost at face value - I'm never going to LOSE money by keeping them.

Drove around, hit up some banks, got 6 40%'ers and 1 1964... all were from machine rolls save for one. Found four old, old rolls from the AC casinos, three from Atlantis City or something, and one from Harrahs... all straight copper, ugh.

Box of dimes gave me a '50 and a '64 ender.

Got some rolls of dollars. I'm pretty sure they are all presidential or the sacagewa dollar. Anyone ever search these and know what I should look for?

  15. The only things I can think of are the 1979 Wide Rims and the 1981 SBA. The only reason to keep the 1981 is because they were for special mint sets only, and not for circulation.

There is no mystery goin' on here. The bank screwed up selling those rolls to you with a name and phone number or whatever on them.
If you attempt to phone or contact that person yourself, all hell COULD break loose. I know I would feel that my confidentiality was violated. That might cause this person to sue, or get someone fired. That's worse case senario.
Just go to the bank, if you must, and pass a word on to the receptionist about you getting those rolls. " Good intentions oft- times go awry" as the saying goes. Reread post #11013 by Merc Crazy and #11014 BY VACookey. This is what I reccomend. zeke

    Halves from 2002 and later.

Forgot to mention I got 6 rolls from the mint at one bank today... 2002 P&D, 2003 P&D, 2005 P&D. All are gonna be going up for sale sooner or later.
