    It does have a strong strike and sharp rims and may even have some die filing marks but there's no way this could be the elusive 1964 sms penny, right???!!!

    You are definitely correct, there is no way it can be a sms cent. Unless you buy one already slabbed, there is no way you will get a 1964 sms coin.

    Not being all that familiar with SMS coins, I thought the edge/rim was an indicator. A sharp, flat, edge, well defined.
