Check this listing on e-bay out. It is a 99 gold panda?? I checked the NGC verification and the coins do not seem to match to me. The coin on NGC has a nick in the field above the panda's ear. I do not see it in the sellers pic. Do you think that it may just be the way the picture turned out (taken by the seller)? Do you think that this coin is genuine?

The seller only has 5 sales, I don't even bother with sellers that are just starting out. Incidentally in the past I have bought a gold panda and other gold coins off ebay with good results. good luck, but look elsewhere!!

Instead of guessing if it's fake, why not verify the cert.#

    It checks out ;)

    BUncirculated,
I did verify the cert, as I stated in my op. If you look at the picture on the NGC site of what they certified and compare it to the picture that the seller posted, there appeared to me to be some differences in the coin that was all. Anyway, passed on that one. I will have to look later and see what it eventually sold for.

Or more likely, there is sterotyping on this item and and auction listing simply because it's located in Thailand!

As I said, the cert # and photo on NGC's site match.
