Just bought my first 5 ounce Libertad last year. Its a 2010 as well. How many were minted? This is one of the most beautiful coins I have ever seen! i took it to work and looked at it under the Micro-view. The detail is astonishing, even more so magnified!

the mintages vary from year to year. I wonder if they're listed somewhere?
is it in the world coin book some people mention. sorry i forget the name right now

Heck yeah! I like the 5 oz. Libertad better than the new AtB 5-ouncers.

LOL. I was going to say something along those lines. These coins are better and the ATB are overpriced and overhyped.
    I can wait.

I bought mine (pictured above) from APMEX, listed as a Proof version. The uncs do not have mirrored fields, not even near that finish from the ones I've seen.

Don't know if you can compare to ATB. I call it the "shotgun effect". Throw enough coins out there and there is bound to be a couple nice designs. However, as stated before, these are totaly awesome. Don't know if I should even say this but it's true: If you magnify it a little, you can actually see the nipple inside the aerola..... Haha! It's true! (No I'm not a perve but I am a guy and I had to look!) Great detail!

LOL! Have to spend a lot of money on an SLQ to get anything approaching anatomical correctness in US coinage.

Haha! The guys at work liked it but I still can't get them interested in silver or coinage for that matter. If that didn't work, I don't know what will........lol

Well there are some pretty racey silver art bars out there if you look for them... they cost a bit more than spot though.

I think I've gone far enough...... At work and on this thread.....lol. I will stick to trusted government silver and engalhard, no silver art bars here. lol
