One Million eight Hundred thousand and change what a deal !!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300535692026&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
I would hope so .. think of the listing fee he got hit with .. I emailed him .. told me start high and work from there guess he's an ebayer with a sense of humor ......... gave me a laugh
yea I sent him an offer for 500,000 LOL and we got a laugh .. price is about right now heck I might even buy the set ........... it's just that Epay fear I have stopping me
That's what he said when I asked him about it. He left the typo in because he thought it would get more attention.
You really think so? I was chatting with a dealer Saturday about Walkers, and he said bid on a complete set was only $100 or so over melt.
Tell your dealer friend that if he has the sets for $100 over melt call me.. they are sold. Heck the 21P in Good is bid at $255. toss in the 21D and the 38D, can pick up a few hundred bucks easy at these prices..
I agree 21-D 21-S and 38-D are pricey ... now a set in Cull or Almost good might go for 1-2 $$ over melt but a decent set is worth a bit more all depending on condition of key coins .. even common later walkers in AU bring 2-3 times melt easy
He wasn't too happy about it He told me I have no clue about silver coins and to never bid on any of his things.
I've gotten most of my AU walkers for close to melt; this guy was selling some nice AU's for $14 (melt was right around $13), common dates, of course. On the other hand, he seemed a little unclear on the concept of "uncirculated", if the "uncirculated" short set he showed me was any indication. Some of them were either the weakest strikes ever, or polished, or both. But he would've let me have it, all 20 coins, for $800... I passed.
give him my contact info I will buy several walkers from him for sure RickMiraski@msn.com or pm me for my phone number thank you in advance for the lead !!! Rick
