It is what it is in any family. All kinds of families that's for sure. Mine happens to be a super complex and convoluted one Not like that nice clean linear nuclear family thing. Makes for interesting and sometimes exasperating geneology searching and putting together family trees and history (another interest of mine. We have some incredibly interesting ancestors! Explorers. pioneers and movers and shakers, both maternal and paternal sides, in settling Canada ) Actually I'd like to eventually acquire some coins representing every country of origin, to go along with the family trees and histories. I also like military history coins related to family soldiers from past wars, so this coins interest can branch off crazily, like my family trees! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Well Merlin.....You seem to be off to a good start. When I starting collecting Icelandic coins they were hard to find and ebay only had a handful of them compared to what you see now. Siggi is right about that 1958 2 Kronur in BU,,, it took me 6 years to find a real nice one.....Keep up the good work....Iceland need more collectors like you.
OH,,,,Nooo. Now I may have some real compartion on my hands,,,,Merlin,, England has some really neat coins....LOL
