Error Dollar Bill

    A local flea market dealer has a couple of error notes. Both have the same margin error: Fr. 1916-L 1988-A $1 FW Error PCGS 65PPQ. I have been trying to find value of this note without much luck. He wants $65 each for the notes. Any help would be appreciated.

    My error note a 1988 A series 1$ Missing 2nd print circulated.

    If I am not mistaken, Lynn Knight has a significant error collection up for auction. You might be able to accesss his archives as well as the Heritage error archives for some better information.

    Thanks for the feedback. I don't have a picture of the note. The error is just a margin overprint. As a certified "65" note it should be worth the $65.
