That would make a complete 20th century set , but the beauty of collecting is you don't have to include them all unless you're doing a registry set . I consider mine finished with just the two main types of Standing Liberty quarters , no '21 peace dollar , and don't consider the post '64 coins as needed . But thanks for the complete list . I probably will pick up a '21 peace dollar sooner or later .

Yeah I know, that's what I love about coin collecting. You can collect how ever you want. But for some strange reason I like a challenge, that's why I'm going to try and find all of the coins. The hardest to get will be the '21 peace dollar, and the first two types of standing liberty quarters.

I would like to have all 3 SLQs but the call to 19th century has been calling for a long time , right now I'm looking for a Flying Eagle , and '59 Indian cent . Along with a , LOL there's always more . The '21 Peace dollar is a hard coin , hard to find one that has a decent for a '21 strike , The '17-P SLQ is the best struck coin in the series
and the price has come down quite a bit . Good luck with your set .

I just have one of each. Haven't bothered with the different types of SLQ's (mainly cause I cannot afford but the one kind) or the VDBs yet. Don't have a '21 Peace or the 40% silver Eisenhower's (technically those were never released to circulation anyways).

I see the possible need to edit your list.

    You include:
    - Lincoln Cent, Copper Memorial Reverse (1959-1982)
    - Lincoln Cent, Zinc Memorial Reverse (1982-2000)
Since the difference between the two types is metal composition, you might want to consider adding another Lincoln type.
The 1944-1946 Lincolns were brass (no tin) rather than bronze.

    Momentary brain lapse?
    - Indian Head Nickel, Recessed Date On Reverse (1913-1938)
The date is not on the reverse.

Thank you. I forgot about brass wheaties. The thing with the buffalo nickel was copied from another page about the 20th century set. I'll make sure that I'll change it. Thanks for telling me the error.

If you know where I can buy all those coins for $300 let me know, as some in that group will cost that much or more alone.

The 1921 Peace Dollar is the most expensive and is worth 85$ in G-4.

A lot of people can't get gold coins, so for their sake I didn't put them on. I don't include Commems for some strange reason, I'm not sure why I do.

89 coins on your list. A very doable set. plus you could probably expand or contract it for varieties as you see fit, or as oppurtunity presents itself.

Let me know too please! I just don't see how you could get all of them for $300. There's $189.07 of just silver in that, not counting all the other coins plus numismatic value (subtract one silver dollar and add the $85 you say the high relief peace is and you are up to $246.) Then you have to account for the SLQ's which get very expensive as well. So I think its virtually impossible to get them all for $300 bucks. Just my 3 cents worth though.

Does different placement of mintmark count as a variety?

I guess technically it is , more like a sub variety of date and MM , not a variety of coin .
