I'll echo that. It's just too bad we couldn't have had a little suspense in the last round. Kinda like watching a superbowl blowout but you keep watching to see the team get their trophy.:D
    And good job Raider!

Thank you all for playing along and I am glad to hear you guys enjoyed it. OK so now I don't wan't any tomato throwing when you see the grades given. I know it's said on this forum all the time buy the coin not the holder.. well the first coin pretty much everyone got close

This on I for the life of me cannot figure out what Pcgs was thinking, maybe the grader's wife just left him. But hey it's in a slab so it must be right....right:rolleyes:
    29 (Medium).JPG
And this Morgan well....I think it had an off chance at 64, but like most of the morgans I posted it was probably pretty accurate. Today anyway.
    30 (Medium).JPG
Once again Thank you all for playing and please don't hold the Mercs and Morgans against me:D
Thanks again to bahabully for all his help.

 64? I thought it was at least a 66, easy. A fitting end, those Mercs are tough to grade!

It's interesting to compare the two 1937 Mercs. Most graded them the same numerically. An interesting contrast between PCGS and NGC potentially.

    SCORING SUMMARY:

First - A big thanks to BIG for putting this on... I know it's a lot of work and is appreciated by all.

Event summary - as noted,,, another blowout by RAIDER, who is as far as I know,,,, UNDEFEATED on this board in these games (with the only exception being a pure cent contest who RLM owned in similar fashion). So HAT's off to our CHAMP ! :thumb::thumb::thumb: RAIDER !! :hail::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

QUICK LOOK AT THE PACK - As Raider side stroked across the finish, the only action was in the rear of the pack and mid-back.... some nice movement back there !!

CRASH !! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nlytg1bYI0 << unable to finish the race were two drivers who forgot which direction the race was going and both exceeded the minimum driving speed on the track, cliped each other, went airborn,, and retired to be brew tent..... Krispy and Camlov >>> DQ'ed for not meeting min. track speed....:hail:

We also saw another drive ROAR from mid-pack going into turn 3 all the way to 2nd !!! WAY TO DRIVE SRO !!!

    OK,, let's score em':

The most honorable Horses A** - You gotta love it !! Congratulations DIONHURST !!;)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdRlkfGLYWY&NR=1

Now, the Exacta's - What can we say,,, some folks can just throw bullseyes:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQx_NqERObA
Joe Cool himself,,,, RAIDER !! An amazing 17 of 30 throws in the eye.

And finally,,, the BEST grader in the group - Amazing,, as I've already, this is the second time I've seen em' run..... but dang that pony can run.........
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1u16T05o7JA

Am eagerly anticipating someone stepping up to post another of these.... Next time someone simply has to pull the tab behind RAIDER's ear and allow venting of that hot air.... either that, or we'll need to get him a bigger helmet...

Bigjpst: Thanks again for the great contest! Exciting, fun and a learning experience for me.

Bahabully: I suggest you quit your day job and head off to Vegas. I expect to see your name up in lights someday. Any other comedians in town will only be used as the opening act at your show! Great Job!

Raider: You're a grading ICON! Congrats on your win!

Ripley: Where did you get that rabbit?

I did find a great book that really helped me out: Called "Making the Grade" published by Amos Hobby Publishing. Easy read, great pictures.
