According to the CPG, they're also found on 51-P, 52-P, 53-P, 54-P, 54-D and 56. No other dates are listed.

Does'nt look like a BB to me , might have a slight weakness in the mouth , but not anything worth the $s he's asking , if any premium .

Ahhhh. The Bugs Bunny Franklin! Kinda like the Elvis of the coin collecting world in that its history and name is what propels it into todays collecting environment!

The Bugs Bunny is nothing more than the end result of a die clash, due to its design, and the clever marketing approach of enterprising coin dealers in the late 50's early 60's assigning the die clash a name!

Since it is a die clash, it can occur on literally ANY of the business strike Franklin Halfs and is not "strictly" limited to 1955.

Just recently, due to some unforeseen legal pressures, PCGS began attributing the Bugs Bunny name to the branch mint coins such as Denver.

And rightly so since as I stated, its nothing more than a "named" die clash which, due to registry inclusion in the PCGS Franklin Variety sets, most Franklin Collectors find appealing.

So............do not limit your searching to only the P Mint and CPG defined dates/mintmark but check EVERY Business Strike Franklin Half for the "Bugs Bunny" die clash. Some are way more prominent than others but they are still BB Die Clashes.

    Added tag to slab

The tag is definitely added to the slab. Most of his auctions have added tags to the slab explaining the VAM.

The e-bay "guide" says there is a 1963-D Bugs, but no mention of a 1962.
