Went to the shop again today, starting to feel like a junkie but got another one anyway. I think I need to stop for a little bit.
My you have been busy. Congrads of the Arkansas and the Pilgrim. I had a Califonia Jubilee show up in the mail today. Jazzed about it.
Too many times we only judge coins by their quality or nature of being "uncirculated". We often forget that many of these coins (commem's) were actually released into circulation. With some of these issues it's the circulated coin that's rare indeed.....
New Baby Huey Finally showed up in the mail today. MS64 Huguenot. I'm new to this. What do you guys think of those "streaks" to the left of the top sail. From what I can tell they look like some kind of weird toning. Thanks. :help!A:
A very nice Hugunot. It looks like natural tarnish, that was there and progressed, since the coin was slabbed. No problem with the coin. Silver will eventually tarnish all the way to black over time. /COLOR]
They sure are pretty neat. Lilley Model 1902 Saber, Nathan Bedford Forest, Stone Mountain Commerative. encil:
I see all of you with some nice coins and feel left out. Here is my favorite one that I own. I know I need to take better pics, but its late.
Nice Gettysburg Tater. I've been looking for a nice circulated example for my collection. The slabbed ones cost a fortune.....
