Another box of dimes; '63 and a '52... both were on the bottom, which means the preceding box probably has some silver in it, hmm...

I took a long lunch and hit 7 banks. I found halves at 4 of them. In all, 27 CWR!!!!!!!!! as well as $2.50 in loose. I LOVE CWR as my luck is much better with them. My finds? I knew you'd ask that. Squat.

One of the banks I stopped at this AM had $210 in CWR. Got a feeling they're blank, I bought $25 and there was nothing, so... doesn't bode well for the remaining $180 or so.

Looks like I had a bit better luck with my CWR's today than the rest of you guys.

Found 19 and got the following:

    51 40%ers
    2 64's
    1 Franklin

One of my better finds lately.

Ive asked this question and I havnt gotten an answer yet so maybe this time someone can shed some light on the subject. I usually go after boxes. I have read over and over about the CWR and thats where I get lost. Any teller that has cwr arnt they just rolls taken from a box anyways. I dont know of any bank that takes cwr especially if they have a coin counting machine. There is too much room for the cwr to not have correct counts or over counts. When I go to all the big banks and ask for cwr they look at me funny. They dont even know the difference. So I guess my question is what banks accept cwr????? and where would you find them??? Bank not near a large city, very small towns?????

Both, Godlike. Every bank I know around here that doesn't have a machine takes CWR.

My bank takes rolls I wrap. You do have to put your name and phone number on each roll in case one is off.

That pretty good for 19 rolls. Loved to get those numbers.

I went and got 7 new half rolls from this bank today and the teller tells me no one ever wants these and I was like score.

yup those are the same CRW as we get around here. You can always tell because they dont have a bank stamp on them.

Yea I've never got an entire box before just whatever rolls they have laying around the bank. Usually have to be lucky to get any.

I love getting cwr in rolls that you have never seen before. Last time I found a 43-P war nickel in them. Sadly though, almost all rolls are bwr.

What does CWR mean? Is that like a customer wrapped roll or something?
