Holy cats! Sure wish I could find a dealer buying junk at more than spot. I'd clean up buying it at or below spot on eBay and reselling it locally. Which, of course, raises the question -- why is the dealer willing to go that high?

Where do you find rolls with that kind of paper. Every time I get a box or rolls they are not in wrappers like that. Do you go to smaller banks not the larger ones?

Thanks, I think I'll pick up a bag this week and try it out. I finished my halves a lot quicker than I thought.

Well the other six boxes yeilded another.........305 40%ers and 2 90's. With a total of 434 silver out of 10 boxes!!!!!! What the hell is going on around here????:devil::devil::thumb::D:cool:

I have a teen penpal over in Japan. His Dad is with the Air Force and he goes to the local Japanese banks and gets rolls of American coins. He has come up with many great finds, mostly buffs, Wingheads,Lincolns and Roosevelts. I think these small change coins have made it over to Japan over the past 65 years and never made it back. Thus its like a gold mine for the kid. Yep, If I was overseas in Asia, I would sure take the time to roll search again. Good luck all.

Also when you go to the bank to get a roll a coins, there's a chance that the roll has been checked by someone like you guys? Just a chance you gotta take?

Picked up my Saturday box of halves and stopped at 2 nearby banks. One bank had 3 halves with 1 being a 40%er. The other bank had 1 CWR. I got to the car and opened one end and saw a Walker. Checked the other end and saw another Walker. Opened the roll when I got home and it had 16 Walkers and 4 Franklins!

Oh and the box I picked up had ZERO silver...figures. I think I have 4 skunk boxes out of my last 7 but this roll makes up for it!

Does your bank ever give you any trouble when you ask for boxes of coins?
