Hi all, I was at dear friend of our family's house today to fix a computer issue he was having. His wife passed away about a year ago. Anyway, I went into the computer room (which I have been in countless times before). There sitting on a chair was a huge laundry basket FILLED to the top with ziplock sandwich bags packed to the breaking point with Lincolns! I asked where the heck did they come from, turns out his wife had been saving them for years! He found them buried in a closet! Well long story short, I'm now in posession of a basket of Lincolns! There is enough coins there to keep me searching for months!
Here are a couple photos of less than 1/4th of what is there! I only brought home what I could carry in 2 trips! :u*meY: I figured they aren't going anywhere so I just left the rest at his house. I tried to give him cash but the wouldn't take it. (I know where he keeps his mad money, if I find something of value I will be making a deposit) LOL
I think I'll have to help him abe, because we live near each other... right Mark?...Mark? Congrats Mark, it sounds like you're going to have a lot of fun. Bruce
We have no idea, I had helped him clean a couple other closets just after she had died. One was a walkin that was literlly packed with shoes. So much so, you couldn't walk in the closet. We knew she was a bit of a "hoarder", but that was just crazy. Lord knows what he will find as he is still finding collections here and there. He also found 40 victorian cameos about 6 months ago. They were worth a small fourtune.
