Yup, but the seller does exactly what they wanted to do in the first place - get rid of a bunch of unwanted inventory. And you can bet they still made money on every sale. Good deal for them, good deal for you. But better for them ;)

They also get some free advertising, I had never heard of this company before, but ordered 3 before they changed the deal. I am sure I will get ads sent to me in the future.

The advertizing worked for me. The deal is over, and I'm still going to check out their site and see what other deals catch my attention.

If you think nobody cared when you bought yours, what do you think the market was like when I purchased about 2 dozen of them six or seven years ago when silver was just under $6? I bought them for less than half what you paid.

I picked one up in an NGC 66 PL holder for 11 dollars last Sunday. Seems these and a lot of other modern mint products are under appreciated because of the HIGH prices on bull right now.

I checked out some items I needed on their site, and noticed a strange sale price on the silver 1999 proof set. Regular price $375, on sale for $395.

Pretty silly to do that when you can easily buy them for not much over $200.

edit - some are even selling them now for less than $200.

The 9 piece silver proof set is the most rare, only 804,565 made compared to over 2.5 million of the clads, and I think that year starting the Statehood Quarter release everyone wanted the sets.

Well you did really well and you gave them a great name as well!! :thumb: I've had a couple of these in the past and I sold them a long time ago. It's got to be one of the worst designs in US Mint history but who cares, they are silver and I wish I would have been the one to snatch some up. It's truly the coin that got no respect, but now look at everybody trying to get their hands on them. I've learned alot and it's all due to the price of silver!! :D

I was amused watching a coin show last night, Fine Coins with Jimmy Gerstel, and he had these Washington commons going for 10 for $219......and he was bragging on how great a deal it was and he couldn't believe they could be going for so cheap.

I am starting to get worried about this "great deal" Its been almost a week and I have heard nothing from this ICCOIN. No order confirmation, shipping notice, nothing! Has anybody else who ordered heard anything from them?

My order history changed to 'shipped' today so I'll know soon enough. They also refunded my PayPal account for 3 of the 6 I ordered saying the limit was three. So the wheels are in motion. I think......
