all toned coins are environmentally altered/colored/damaged coins - whether it was intentional or not, should not make any difference. IMHO of course!
Couple more toners Might as well show you a couple more I bought to feed my addiction, since they probably don't warrant a new thread:
Yes, but you're forgetting one very important thing. Scroll down! / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / I'm hungry! Feed me!
I received the coins and snapped some quick photos with the droid. This is actually more true to what they look like in hand. Here are the seleers photos again: The colors were way juiced. My vote is for all natural baby!
I am calling NT on the morgans after seeing the new images which seem to give a much more realistic and natural look to the toning....I have no doubts they spent time in an album or one of the cardboard tidy house type holders we talked about.
Since I have owned several like this in NGC holders I am calling the coin NT. I know there is a big movement to call all Lincolns with this type of toning AT due to the application of MS70 but I believe a lot of these coins are natural and are being labled unfairly.
Thanks Krypto. I had seen the "Tide e" one you were selling on ebay, and thats exactly what I thought of when I saw these.
There's no question that Shane knows more than me. Usually, I just buy pretty ones from him, but that '87 still has me concerned. All of the Tid-E-Bowls I've seen have always started right along the rim, but this one is set away from it. I don't know. Please, let us know the results if you submit it for grading. I'm really, really curious. Chris
