Nice! Scanning can work too for photos. I'm 13 also. Here's my work as an example: Wave over the photo to zoom:
Of course! That is one of the most commonly used fake names in the country (for TV ads, credit card companies, etc.)!
Of coarse JD, it's the Internet LOL... Have you thought about using Photoshop? I think there is a demo you can try and at the very least a student discount. Non the less working with what you have is dang impressive. To be honest I have never used Paint.NET just Photoshop.
Dang CM I found one of those '95 DDO about a month ago, and have been searching endlessly for another one as nice as that one!
The photos don't really do the coin any justice; it is WAY better in person. If I sent it out, it'd probably get a 67/68. I paid quite a bit for it too.
NICE! I think it looks beautiful! No need to have PCGS plastic obscuring that beauty unless you plan on selling it! Thanks for sharing that CM, and the same goes for you JD...
Nice JOB! I'm learning right now too, looks like your a few steps in front of me! Keep the photos coming!
Thanks. I appreciate it. It's one of my favorite pieces out of the many thousands that I own. I put it in my Lincoln cent album, but will soon take it out. I don't want it to tone!
There you go! Yea just pop it in an Air-Tite, and keep it dry and out of the sun and it should stay like that when your kids give it to their kids. BTW: Dansco Albums are supposedly impervious to toning? That's where mine resides, but mine is maybe a 55 at best...
Keep up the great work JD. Images are where its at for coins and creating a good looking compositions is and will be more and more prevalent as I think it is the best way to communicate and show off your coins. This is the what I currently use .... I was thinking about changing to a vertical layout. Click on the pic a couple of times to get the full resolution.
Nice to see some more YN's! I'm 11 CM, I think Dansco makes slipcases fro the albums and they're suposed to prevent toning completely.
