What is the most you have EVER SPENT on one piece of U.S. Paper Currency?

    The most I ever spent (and I don't collect paper money) was $30 for a 1901 $10 Buffalo about 20 years ago. It wasn't anything like those that you often see at the big shows that looked like they've been bleached and ironed with starch. This one had character from being handled. In 2004, I submitted it to PMG for grading and it came back F12. In 2007, I took it with me to FUN and sold it to a Dallas dealer for $650.
