Come on now...please dont pretend that you are surprised that this topic would become controversial..and some people will not appreciate the subject matter as much as others..especially after what happened to you on that other site.
I get the feeling this thread isn't over in the least.

The other forum is owned by CU, parent of PCGS, and specifically says that they are not a public forum, and strongly implies (IMO) that postings can not be contrary to the philosophy of PCGS. This forum has rules also as are listed in the "Forum Index"and likewise are enforced. As long as the posters stay within the rules, all will be cool. One can contribute or disagree within those guidelines.

Makes one want to gift one of these works of art in PCGS plastic? Than knock them and their sniffer down a peg...

Don't be! Your precious draped bust can be struck in someones garage! How about that 1914-D? Are you certain it's not a forgery? You sure a forger didn't make a 1914 die, and than just stamp a D on it?
You think a die is impossible to make? Think again...
I'm glad this thread was started! Quit paying so much for tone people!
There is nothing a man can't do with the right tools! You better take that to the bank!

Me too, give me a purchasing choice between 2 examples of the same silver coin, one thats toned and another thats not...the untoned coin wins hands down.
Too much friggin around with them as you can see. I have no issues with trying to maintain my coins as brilliant as the day I bought them.

Dollar, I knew this would stir up a huge can of worms when I posted it, but that does not mean I can't laugh about it.

How and the hell are you gonna tell me what I can and cant collect? And I can guarantee that most of the toning collectors on this site can detect anything and everything created by the OP. So dont think for one second that he could sneak one past PCGS graders and he damn sure wouldn't sneak one past the sniffer!

I am so sorry I came into this forum so late!!! There is a guy on this site(we will call him "xxxxxx") who I noticed did not reply to this thread. He is notorious for his so-called "toned" coins. His whole store is full of over-priced "toned" coins. I tried to "out" him on his store but all it did was make his friend , the site owner mad at me and I got kicked off the site. I was just trying to show every one he was a fake. Oh, well I hope people get smarter and learn that his stuff is junk. Thanks for showing the Cointalk people the truth.

Whats really funny is the crap you create. If you want a toned coin just buy one. Its not that hard is it?

Maybe if you are going to the Flying Eagle Show next weekend you can give me his real name. :)

Why are you laughing, you have no skills as a coin doctor. You are nothing more than a basement chemist who churns out obvious AT crap.

What are you talking about? Is xxxxsupposed to be xxxx? Are you so mad that he banned you from a forum that you are now crusading against toned coins and showing your numismatic ignorance. The only truth presented in this thread is that there are plenty of clowns in the numismatic world.

Sorry, did not know that rule. Anyways he knows who he is. I am over it. I am better at finding quality coins than I used to be. And I did not even spell his name right to begin with.

Are you claiming that you gun coloring skills have led you to pinnacle of the coin doctoring profession. If it is so easy to AT a coin and get it slabbed, then show us one of your conquests doctor. I am also glad this thread was started, it will show how bad most AT coin doctors really are.
